Important information about your Sage 300 support plan
On May 11, 2017, Sage sent out a message to all existing Sage 300 users, announcing the release of Sage 300 2018, later this year. Sage mentioned that according to their support policy they will only provide Sage support to Sage 300 and Sage 300c versions of 2018, 2017, and 2016 (once Sage 300 version 2018 is released).
No need to panic if you don’t use Sage 300 payroll
If you do not currently use Sage 300 payroll, and are on Sage 300 2014 or an earlier version you don’t need to be too concerned about this announcement. At Front Line Systems we will continue to support your business to the best of our ability, regardless of your Sage 300 version. Please note: If you are on an unsupported version of Sage 300, you will not have access to any Sage 300 product updates and bug fixes from Sage. However, our team is dedicated to helping you get the most ROI out of your system, until you are ready to move to a supported version of Sage 300.
Panic, if you use Sage 300 payroll! Not really, but do call Front Line Systems within the week. Here’s why…
If you use Sage 300 payroll, and are on Sage 300 2014 or an earlier Sage 300 version, you will not have access to payroll tax updates and other form changes for your payroll (once Sage 300 version 2018 is released).
While we can support all non-payroll related support issues, managing payroll related issues on an un-supported Sage 300 version will not be easy. At this time you will have until Jan 31, 2018 to move to a supported version. We are working with Sage to get you covered through the year end tax requirements. Stay tuned for more on that.
Please call us to discuss your upgrade options, or payroll support options if you will not be upgrading to Sage 300 ver. 2016 or higher system, within the year.

Log into your Sage 300 system, and then go to Help and System Information.

Please note: If your Sage 300 system is not currently being supported by Sage, they will not give us any additional support for updates and technical issues that occur using newer releases of Microsoft Office, Java, Windows and the newest operating systems.
