PrintBoss Software for Sage 300

The Pick Pack Slip – The user enters an order in Sage 300, hits Post, and clicks “yes” to print this document on vertically perforated paper (note the blue line). Shipping enters the quantity shipped/back-ordered on both sides of the perforation. The right side of the document goes in the box as a packing slip. The left side of the document is given to accounting so they can invoice the order.

Orders Printing by Production Zones – We have a client who organized their production in the warehouse based on product type zones. If the order is very large (multiple pallets) – it prints to the shipping manager’s printer so she can coordinate the shipment. But for small orders, we send the document to the printer in the correct zone – eliminating sorting and processing time. Their orders are also printing to multiple warehouses that are an hour’s drive from each other.

The Email Comment – When a customer implements an auto-emailing solution like AR customer statements, for example, if we do not have an email address on hand for the client, we include a comment on the printed copy that is mailed out. The comment says something like: “If you would like to start receiving your statements via email, please contact us at…” This has been hugely successful in helping our clients transition their customers to email.

Payroll Checks In One Batch – Our payroll clients typically have some direct deposit employees and some who still like a printed payroll check. We’ve given them the ability to process payroll all in one batch, and PrintBoss handles either the printing of the check / direct deposit stub, or emailing the direct deposit stub to the employee. The emailed documents are ALWAYS password protected – typically with a password unique to the employee.

CustomerService@Acme.Com – PrintBoss gives you the ability to send emails from multiple workstations, all using the same Outlook profile. The first benefit is that it adds a professional flair to your emails – all of a sudden, you look as automated and efficient as Amazon! This also means that all responses are funneled back into the same email address. We have some clients who have different staff handling the responses to these emails on different days or at different times – this guarantees a timely response.
